A little history about Frankoma:
The company was founded by John Frank, who had been a professor in ceramics at the University of Oklahoma in Norman from 1927 to 1936, used light-hued local Ada clay in his initial products. He moved the company to Sapulpa in 1938, only to soon rebuild that factory after a fire later that year. The name Frankoma was created from Frank's last name and the last three letters of the state of Oklahoma.

The company has been through several iterations and only recently closed its operations.

Pot measures approx. 10" in diameter including handles and 6 3/4" high; stand is 3 1/4" high.

In very good overall condition - there is one chip on the lid handle.
