Retro Handmade Blue and White Pottery Bread Basket Warmer Made in Canada

Whoever put the description on the bottom of this, THANK YOU! I would have no idea what this is.

Description reads: "Heat warmer in oven while you are baking or heating bread of muffins. Place in bottom of cloth-lined bread basket. Stays warm for a long time"

Plate 6" across x 1/4" in height. The other piece 3-1/4" in height x 2" across the bottom.
