Medium Brown Pottery Plate with Green Highlights

I'm not sure what the knob in the middle of the plate is for besides making this plate incredibly easy to pick up.

In beautiful condition some manufacturer imperfections on the bottom and one teeny chip on the bottom edge (please see photos).
