Antique 1940s Borzoi Clear Viking Glass Wolfhound Bookend

Beautiful, vintage Viking Glass Borzoi Wolfhound Greyhound Bookend

These collectible glass dog figurines were made by the Viking Glass Company of New Martinsville, West Virginia in the early 1940's. It was one of the few designs created just before the company changed the look of their products, immediately following WWII.

It measure 9” long, 1½” wide, and 7” tall. The rectangle base measures 7” long by 2” wide.

It is heavy and sturdy, weighing 2 pounds 6 ounces.

These Viking Glass bookends are in excellent condition with no chips, but a very small internal crack on one corner (very hard to see).

They are ready for their new home! This wonderful pair of vintage bookends are ready to grace your home as bookends, or as free-standing figurines, or as an important addition to a canine glass collection.
